How Do You Set It Up on a Samsung TV, LG TV, iPhone or Roku?

You do not install the app on any of them, because it does not exist for any of them. The fix is hardware.

Plug an Amazon Fire TV Stick into a spare HDMI port on the television and follow the Firestick instructions above. The stick runs the app natively and your Samsung or LG becomes a screen, which is all it needs to be. Apple TV and Roku owners do exactly the same thing: the Firestick lives in the next HDMI port along and you switch input to watch.

There is no equivalent trick for an iPhone or iPad with no television involved. • Build a favourites list before you watch anything. Ten to fifteen channels. Then set the app to open on Favourites. Scrolling 21,500+ entries with a directional pad is a genuinely bad experience and it is entirely avoidable.
• Switch the decoder to hardware. In the player settings. On a Firestick this cut visible stutter on 1080p sport noticeably in our testing, because the stick's CPU stops doing work its video chip should be doing.
• Set the buffer to medium. Small buffers show every network hiccup. Large buffers make channel changes feel broken.
• Get off 2.4 GHz wifi. Either use the 5 GHz band or, better, a Fire TV ethernet adapter. Nothing in the app's settings helps as much as a cable does.
• Reboot the stick weekly. Firesticks leak memory. A weekly restart prevents most of the "the app got slow after a month" reports we receive.
